I specialise in hand crafted natural stone sculpture for restoration, new buildings, gardens and public spaces

Following apprenticeship as a stone mason I spent many years as an architectural sculptor for English Heritage, then moved to Hexham, Northumberland in 1989 to set up my own business. As well as the traditional equipment I use tungsten-tipped pneumatic tools and diamond-bladed cutters. For some projects I use computer aided design and manufacture.

I also work as a freelance sculptor, with a large portfolio of imaginative works for public places - often in collaboration with landscape architects, poets and other artists, seeking to engage local schools and communities.

I hope these pages will show the scale and complexity of the projects that I can undertake. Clients corporate or individual benefit from the same depth of experience and quality of personal attention.
