A new dial designed in collaboration with Bridget Jones, made in Locharbriggs red sandstone about 2m high. We drew the spiral at full scale on the wall of my studio, and Bridget specifed vine ornament in the style of the Ruthwell Viking cross near Dumfries. The gnomon is supported by a pattern derived from graptolite fossils, and Bridget made zig-zag mirror glass inserts
