My first toolbox
It was my Grandpa Tom who gave me a starter's kit – he had trained as an engineer in the Sunderland shipyards and couldn’t bear to see me struggling with the wrong tools. He went to Alec Tiranti and took their advice on what tools were needed, and made this box to hold them. I was impressed to see my name inscribed on the front.
